Geomarine is committed to addressing the principles of environmental protection, pollution prevention and reducing the environmental impacts of both global and local issues related to the day to day activities of the business along with our responsibilities in complying with the current environmental and corporate social responsibility legislation.

We will work to ensure the achievement of our commitment to environmental issues by following these principles:

• We aim to comply with the requirement of environmental legislation and approved code of practice.
• We will review material, methods and equipment use in an effort to eliminate or limit potential adverse environmental impacts of our works.
• We aim to improve environmental performance by setting achievable targets to meet or surpass all of the relevant legislative requirements.
• We aim to reduce the use of raw materials, energy, and supplies and increase the reduce, reuse, recycle philosophy.
• We will develop this policy by ensuring that the process of planning, procuring and producing shall take into proper account of environmental matters.
• We will raise awareness, encourage participation and train operatives in environmental matters.
• We shall encourage high environmental standards from all of  our suppliers and contractors.
• We shall set annual environmental improvement objectives and targets, which, are regularly monitored and reviewed.
• We will assist and encourage customers, clients, suppliers and contractors to use products and services in an environmentally sensitive way.
• We believe that effective sound environmental practice is a key factor in demonstrating effective business management and such as shall be utilized as a tool for continual business development. To this end we shall seek to train, work with the local community and participate in discussion about environmental matters.
• We aim to develop a system that will undertake the principles and spirit of ISO14001 until full accreditation has been obtained.

This policy may be reviewed at any time in the light of experience or as changes in circumstances and legislation dictate, but in any event at least annually.
