Geomarine is a leading Contractor in the utility sector within the Channel Islands. Currently contracted to a number of mainstream Utility providers, Geomarine provide bespoke excavation and installation services to the individual requirements of their clients.

Geomarine further offer detailed planning and coordination to ensure minimal disruption to local schools, businesses and the community as a whole.

Geomarines team are complemented by Street works qualified supervisors and over 30 street works qualified operatives. This high level of training and skill support their ability to carry out works in accordance with the detailed requirements of local Roads and street works legislation.

Our Utility contracting services are supported by our in house locally approved reinstatement team which provides Geomarine with the unique ability to ensure prompt reinstatement of our excavations without the need to further subcontract this work.

Our relationships with Jersey Utility providers, positions us uniquely to offer efficient coordination of all on site services.

Geomarine wish to develop relationships with local developers offering a Multi Utility one stop approach to service installations on new and refurbished sites.

We will provide a single point of contact to eliminate the traditional disruption caused by multiple, uncoordinated operations and to deal with any day-to-day concerns.

Rather than dig up your site on 4 different occasions using 4 different contractors, why not employ a single contractor with the experience and contacts within all sectors to ensure the overall integrity of the installation and ensuring correct alignment and separation of all utilities in relation to finished levels.

Geomarine offer:-

• Trench excavation in accordance with the requirements of Health and safety at Work ( Jersey) 1989
• Installation of cables, ducting, Ductile and MDPE Pipe work.
• Construction of thrust blocks
• Traffic Management in accordance with the requirements of safety at Road works and Streetworks and Chapter 8 of the traffic signs manual
• Backfill, compaction and reinstatement in accordance with the requirements of Excavation and Reinstatement of openings in highways
• Surface reinstatements to the detailed requirements of local specification
