Geoenvironmental Engineer joins Geomarine
Richard Sutton joined Geomarine in April this year as a Geotechnical and Environmental Engineer.
He studied Earth Sciences before going on the work in geology and land contamination assessment with design and project management and is currently finishing a master’s degree in Pollution and Contamination Management.
Richard brings to Geomarine a variety of specialist services some of which are a first for the Island and will enable local companies to use on Island professionals instead of outsourcing specialist services.
His role will see Geomarine embracing environmental challenges and offering services such as land contamination assessment, noise assessment, EMS and geology studies to back up its commitment to these specialist areas.
Richard is currently working closely with Durrell on their Environmental Management System and with forthcoming projects within the Trust and is tackling some highly challenging geotechnical works.
